To celebrate the end of Bordeaux Wine month, Clive Powell from Cambridge Wines Royston will be hosting a wine dinner at The Fox & Hounds, Barley. 

Enjoy five fabulous expressions paired with a five course menu curated by Chef Brett Barnes.

1st Course:

Poached Mersea oysters, scallop mousseline, champagne cream “Albert Roux”
Pairing: Cremant de Bordeaux Mouleyre NV


2nd Course:

Dover sole a la Meuniere, mussels & brown shrimp
Pairing: Le blanc sec de Suidirat 2020


3rd Course:

Mosaic game terrine, quince jelly
Pairing: Chateau Franc Baudron 2016


4th Course:

Confit Aylesbury duck, beetroot, red chicory, elderberry
Pairing: Moulin de Citran 2010


5th Course:

Pear Tarte Tatin, crème Normande
Pairing: Chateau Gravas 2018


The evening includes an arrival cocktail, 5-course tasting menu & paired wines.
